“Ascending Volumes” pairs four haiku by Robert C. Ford with Jay Rodriguez Sierra’s shakuhachi, a traditional Japanese bamboo flute. Reflecting on the seasons of life, the poems explore transition, introspection, and renewal. Rodriguez Sierra (Groove Collective, Wu-Tang Clan) provides a spacious, meditative accompaniment, leaving room for silence between words and notes.
